April 22, 2023 is the 54th World Earth Day, and the theme of this year's Earth Day is "Cherish the Earth, Harmony between Man and Nature". To further guide the whole society to establish the ecological civilization concept of "respecting nature, adapting to nature and protecting nature", promote the construction of beautiful Qianshan, and jointly build an earth home where people and nature live in harmony, Tianzhushan Global Geopark and Shuzhou Primary School of Qianshan City will jointly hold a series of thematic publicity activities for the World Earth Day 2023.

On Sep. 9-10, a 9-person delegation of Jiuhuashan
UGGp, including Mr. Gui Qingping, section chief of the construction and
environmental protection department of Jiuhuashan, and Mr. Lin Qigang, director
of Jiuhuashan Geopark Administrative Office. Ms. Jiang Xia, secretary of
Discipline Inspection of Tianzhushan Administrative Committee, Mr. Yu Jiehan,
director of land construction and environmental protection bureau of Tianzhushan
Administrative Committee, and Mr. Wang Quanhai, Tianzhushan Geopark office
director and chairman of Tianzhushan Tourism Development Co.,Ltd accompanied
the visit.
Jiuhuashan Geopark representatives successively
visited Tianzhushan Geopark Museum and the main peak scenic area of Tianzhushan
Geopark. Two geoparks made in-depth exchange on the geoheritage protection,
scientific research and science popularization, networking, revalidation
experience and the geopark museum construction.
Tianzhushan UGGp and Jiuhuashan UGGp established
sister parks relationship in July, 2014, and both geoparks have made many cooperative
activities to promote networking and exchanges.
