April 22, 2023 is the 54th World Earth Day, and the theme of this year's Earth Day is "Cherish the Earth, Harmony between Man and Nature". On March 14, a delegation comprised of 7
persons from Hexigten Global Geopark Administrative Committee and the municipal
Land and Resources Bureau of Chifeng City visited Tianzhushan Global Geopark to
learn about the geopark construction, make communication on management and
share revalidation experience. The delegation visited the geo-museum of
Tianzhushan and the main peak scenic area. Both geoparks made a depth exchange
on the geopark construction, the geo-heritage protection, scientific research
and science popularization and revalidation issues, achieving consensus to
establish a long-term cooperation mechanism.
