In order to celebrate the upcoming International Museum Day, on May 17, Tianzhushan UGGp and Tianzhushan Central Primary School jointly organized the "'I speak for my hometown' Little Interpreters Competition" at Tianzhushan Geopark Museum, to guide students to further pass on their excellent history and culture and to cultivate excellent promoters of hometown attractions.

After the activity started, the "Little Interpreters" took their positions and explained the formation and development of Tianzhu Mountain, the mystery of paleontological fossils in the Qianshan Basin, the rich biodiversity resources and the long history and culture of Tianzhushan in the Earth Mystery Hall, Life Evolution Hall and Wan Culture Hall of the museum. With their confident eyes, professional posture and fluent explanations, the "Little Interpreters " vividly demonstrated the excellent quality and cultural confidence of the contemporary youth, fully reflecting the vigorous spirit of the youth in the new era. "As a little interpreter, this activity can improve my expression ability and my self-confidence, but also let me fully understand the history and culture of my hometown, back to school I will also study hard, and I always get ready to become an excellent interpreter for the future." Little interpreter Wang Weitong said at the end of the activity.

The theme activities for the International Museum Day gave full play to the museum's social education function, enriched the students' historical and cultural reserves, and fully demonstrated their self-worth. In the future, Tianzhushan Geopark Museum will rely on its own science education resources to carry out various science education activities, to popularize the rich geological culture and natural resources of the Tianzhushan area as its own responsibility, and to cultivate the awareness of youth to love Tianzhushan and their hometown from an early age, and to be a firm spreader and inheritor of their hometown culture.
