November 19, Tianzhushan UGGp invited Mr. Wang Yuanqing, a researcher from the
Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology of the Chinese
Academy of Sciences, to enter Yezhai Senior Middle School to give a popular
science lecture with the theme of "Understanding Bones in Red Stones "
to the second-year high school students.
From
the perspectives of "what are bones in red stones " and "the
significance of studying bones in red stones ", researcher Wang Yuanqing
introduced the stratigraphy and common types of Qianshan paleontological
fossils to the students in details.
It is reported that from November 11th to 20th, researcher Wang Yuanqing and his entourage came to Tianzhushan UGGp to carry out research projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Chinese Academy of Sciences to conduct Paleogene stratigraphy and paleontological investigations.
