On May 16, ahead of the "International Museum Day" (May 18), Tianzhushan Geopark Museum launched its third "Junior Docent" selection competition, themed "New Voices of Tianzhu, Passing on Cultural Legacy". The event aimed to leverage the museum’s social education role, nurture young cultural ambassadors, and deepen teenagers’ passion for their homeland. Sixteen students from Qianshan Weimin Junior Middle School showcased their skills, using their youthful voices to share Tianzhushan’s stories and highlight their hometown’s charm.

Contestants delivered presentations on Tianzhushan’s geological wonders, natural ecosystems and historical heritage. Their performances—ranging from passionate speeches to heartfelt narratives—highlighted their confidence and poise, embodying the spirit of a new generation. After fierce competition, one first prize, three second prizes, and six third prizes were awarded.

Distinguished guests presented certificates to the winners, praising their outstanding performances and encouraging them to continue preserving local culture as exemplary youth role models. The winners will be officially appointed as "Junior Docents" at Tianzhushan Geopark Museum, joining its volunteer team to provide free guided tours for visitors during holidays.
