     The Science Education Base of Pailou Middle School in the Tianzhu Mountain World Geopark was inaugurated on December 8th, 2012 in Pailou Middle School. Relevant officials from the Education Department of Qianshan County, Scientific and Technology Association of Qiansha County, Tianzhushan Global Geopark Administration Committee attended the unveiling ceremony and gave speeches. After the ceremony, over 40 members of the school research team conducted field investigations at several geological relics like Yanwo and Hanchangchong to learn more about  the characteristics and scientific research value of eclogite, a unique stone in Tianzhushan Global Geopark, so as to better understand our hometown and the earth on which we are living.
