To popularize earth science knowledge and enhance awareness of natural resource conservation, Tianzhushan UNESCO Global Geopark will host a series of science popularization activities for the 57th World Earth Day and the 7th Asia Pacific Geopark Week. Through offline popularization and online interaction, we will explore the mysteries of geology and protect our common homeland.

As
the warm spring breeze blows, it is the perfect time for greening. On the
occasion of the 48th Tree Planting Day, to thoroughly practice the ecological
civilization concept that "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable
assets" and carry forward the spirit of Lei Feng and volunteerism,
Tianzhushan Geopark organized a tree-planting volunteer activity at the square
of the Tianzhushan Geopark Museum on March 12, the Tree Planting Day itself.
At
the event site, all participants were divided into several groups and worked in
coordination with standard operations. They dug pits with spades, held
seedlings and filled soil, tamped the earth and watered the saplings, and
firmed the roots to stabilize the seedlings, with every step carried out
meticulously and in an orderly manner. All strictly controlled the planting
quality, striving to ensure that each seedling planted would survive and
thrive. After nearly an hour of hard work, rows of new green seedlings took root
neatly at the museum square.
This
activity is a vivid practice of ecological protection carried out by
Tianzhushan Geopark. It not only beautifies the museum's surrounding
environment, but also strengthens team cohesion and social responsibility,
fully demonstrating the public welfare commitment of Tianzhushan Geopark to
nature protection and social service.
