Located in Qianshan City, the school covers an area of 127,451m2. It is committed to training professional students, facilitating development and promoting employment. It also strives to improve the quality of its education and train qualified students for higher education and society. The school’s goal is to build itself into a provincial example of a school that focuses on vocational training.

On 3 Dec 2018, Tianzhushan Global Geopark  organized a science education lecture in Tianzhusha Tourism Vocational School. Huang Wen presented a report with the theme “UNESCO Global Geopark”. By interpreting, playing videos and having a Q&A session with students present, she imparted popular science knowledge to students from middle and primary schools and sparked their interests in geoscience as well as their love for their hometown.
