Qianshan No.4 Middle School is located on the shore of the Xuehu Lake, the eastern suburbs of Qianshan City. It was founded in 1967, formerly known as Shunqiao Junior Middle school and Xuehu Junior Middle School, renamed as Qianshan No.4 Middle School in 2006. The school covers an area of 0.07km2, with 44 standardized classes, more than 2,000 students and 146 faculty.

In 2019, the school was assessed as the "Character Education Experimental School"  "Qianshan Science and Technology Innovation Demonstration School" and the "Anqing Science Popularization Education Base" by Qianshan Education Bureau and Anqing Science Association. In June 2020, it was awarded the title of "2020 National Youth Artificial Intelligence Activity Featured Unit". In July 2020, it won the first place in the group of Anqing Second Meteorological Science Knowledge Competition for middle school students. In November 2020, the paticipant from Qianshan No.4 Middle School gained the first place in Anqing Speech Contest. In 2021, the school was awarded the "Science Demonstration School" by the Tianzhushan UGGp.
