Jiuhuashan UNESCO Global Geopark is located in the south part of Anhui Province, China along Yangtze River, with an area of 139.7 km2. It joined the GGN in 2019. It boasts outstanding models of clear, magnificent and beautiful granite complex, large granite block landforms and unique fluid-rich granite miarolitic structure which displays magmatic activities from sima melting to sial melting in deep crust and subsequent tectonic activities. It also has north subtropical vegetation landscape and Buddhist culture. Jiuhuashan Geopark attracts more than 9 million tourists every year, and it is a National Scenic Area, National Natural and Cultural Heritage Site and one of four famous Buddhist Mountains in China.
