April 22, 2023 is the 54th World Earth Day, and the theme of this year's Earth Day is "Cherish the Earth, Harmony between Man and Nature". To further guide the whole society to establish the ecological civilization concept of "respecting nature, adapting to nature and protecting nature", promote the construction of beautiful Qianshan, and jointly build an earth home where people and nature live in harmony, Tianzhushan Global Geopark and Shuzhou Primary School of Qianshan City will jointly hold a series of thematic publicity activities for the World Earth Day 2023.

On
March 1st, 2022, a management and development training course of Tianzhushan UGGp
was held successfully by the Culture, Tourism and Sports Bureau of Qianshan
City and Tianzhushan Geopark Administrative Center. 132 tour guides attended
the training.
This
training course, given by professor Zhao Kai from Anqing Normal University and staffs
of Tianzhushan Geopark Administrative Center, covered the identification of
rare and endangered animals and plants of Qianshan City, the geological
evolution and development of Tianzhushan UGGp and Paleontological fossils in
Qianshan Basin.
Through
this training, tour guides were better aware of the geological value,
ecological value and cultural value of Tianzhushan UGGp, and enriched their
knowledge, conducive to the sustainable development of the geo-tourism.
