The new library of Qianshan City is located in the Qianshan City Cultural Park, adjacent to the Qianshan City Archives and Culture Museum. The layout work was launched in May 2022, using an integrated design, construction and procurement, with a total project investment of 18 million yuan. The building area is about 5,400 m2, with a total of three floors. The whole library can accommodate a collection of 300,000 books, with the current collection reaching 180,000 books and 1 million electronic books. Qianshan Library was assessed by the Ministry of Culture as a "National Grade II Library".

In June 2020, on the 15th Cultural and Natural Heritage Day, the Tianzhushan Management Committee donated a total of 80 books to the library and 16 cultural stations in the city, including Guide to the Tianzhushan UGGp, Butterflies of Tianzhushan, etc., which enriched the book collections of the library and cultural stations. In March 2021, Qianshan Library, together with the Tianzhushan UGGp, held a science lecture on "Common Wild Vertebrates of Tianzhushan UGGp". In June 2022, Tianzhushan UGGp Management Center, Qianshan Science and Technology Association, Tianzhushan UGGp Museum and Qianshan Library jointly formed a science volunteer service team to carry out the "Our Festival, Dragon Boat Festival and the "Wanshui Qianshan Zong is Love" science volunteering activities.
