In October 1972, the 27th UN General Assembly adopted the resolution that made June 5 the “World Environment Day”. According to the major environmental problem and issue every year, UN decides the specific theme of “World Environment Day”. On this day, the UN and various governments will all hold a wide range of activities to educate people the importance of the human environment protection and improvement of human behaviors to the environment.
