The granite looks like a parrot raising its head and chirping toward the sky, so it is called Parrot Rock. It is formed by weathering and erosion after the rock has been cut along a few sets of joints.

1.The granite boulder suffers strong weathering along two sets of joints and erosion by running water, snow and ice.

2.The remains looks like a parrot raising its head and chirping toward the sky
