East Fort Peaks
Pubdate:4/25/2015 SaturdayCategory:Introduction of Geosites

East Fort Peaks are a peak cluster formed by the granite from the early Cretaceous period (128 million years ago). Due to dense vertical joints, the granite mass was strongly weathered along it’s joints and cut by the fault, therefore peaks such as “Yingzhen Peak”, “Fupen Peak” and “Tianshi Peak” were formed.
