April 22, 2023 is the 54th World Earth Day, and the theme of this year's Earth Day is "Cherish the Earth, Harmony between Man and Nature". To further guide the whole society to establish the ecological civilization concept of "respecting nature, adapting to nature and protecting nature", promote the construction of beautiful Qianshan, and jointly build an earth home where people and nature live in harmony, Tianzhushan Global Geopark and Shuzhou Primary School of Qianshan City will jointly hold a series of thematic publicity activities for the World Earth Day 2023.

From Sep. 19th to Sep. 22nd,
the 5th APGN conference on global geoparks was held in Zhijin
County, Guizhou Province. Tianzhushan UNESCO Global Geopark led by Mr. Wang
Chendong, deputy director of Tianzhushan Administrative Committee, attended the
conference.
With the theme of “UNESCO Global Geoparks
Promote The Sustainable Development of Local Economy”, the conference was
attended by more than 900 representatives from 27 countries. Representatives of
UNESCO, GGN, UNESCO Global Geoparks Council and APGN attended the conference.
The conference was comprised of five rounds
of themed reports and six rounds of special reports. The representatives of
Tianzhushan made a themed report entitled “UNESCO Global Geoparks Should
Actively Make Contributions to Combat Climate Change”, achieving wide
attention and affirmation. Tianzhushan delegation and other global geoparks
held extensive exchanges and shared experiences as well as promoted Tianzhushan.
