April 22, 2023 is the 54th World Earth Day, and the theme of this year's Earth Day is "Cherish the Earth, Harmony between Man and Nature". On August 23, the workshop on the evaluation
and revalidation of UNESCO Global Geoparks was held by the National Geoparks
Network Center in Beijing. Leaders and experts from the State Administration of
Forestry and Grassland, Geopark ExB, APGN CC, Chinese Academy of Geological
Sciences and National Geoparks Network Center and coordinators and evaluators
of the Chinese UGGps attended the workshop.
Representatives engaged in in-depth communication
in the geoparks management and development and shared evaluation and
revalidation experiences.
Tianzhushan UGG will be revalidated in 2019.
