April 22, 2023 is the 54th World Earth Day, and the theme of this year's Earth Day is "Cherish the Earth, Harmony between Man and Nature". The science popularization lecture
with the title The Geoheritage of Tianzhushan
UNESCO Global Geopark Tells The Earth’s Story was recently held in Anqing
Normal University.
Nearly 80 students attended the lecture, and Professor Wu Weiping from Anhui Geological Survey Institute introduced different aspects of Tianzhushan UNESCO Global Geopark: overview, geological features, formation, evolution, management and development, in order to promote public scientific knowledge and awareness of protection.
