To popularize earth science knowledge and enhance awareness of natural resource conservation, Tianzhushan UNESCO Global Geopark will host a series of science popularization activities for the 57th World Earth Day and the 7th Asia Pacific Geopark Week. Through offline popularization and online interaction, we will explore the mysteries of geology and protect our common homeland.

To celebrate the
115th International Women's Day, the Women’s Federation of Tianzhushan Global
Geopark organized a unique event on March 5, 2025, blending natural landscapes
with cultural heritage. Over 100 female staff representatives participated in
activities such as nature exploration, cultural immersion, and fun
competitions, showcasing women’s elegance and uniting their collective drive
for progress.

In the morning,
the attendees visited the Dadi Tea Coffee site in Doumu Countryside, savoring
the fusion of tea aromas and pastoral charm. Then they visited the Yujianhechuan
B&B, experiencing the interplay of traditional architecture and modern
aesthetics. At the Doumu Ancient Pottery Intangible Cultural Heritage Workshop,
they delved into the craftsmanship of millennia-old ceramic art. They also
joined a lively cultural performance and legal knowledge quiz at Hongxing
Village Square. The morning concluded with a tour of the newly built Tianzhushan
Research and Education Camp.

In the
afternoon, the female representatives visited Xuehu Park, exploring landmarks
like Shuwang Pavilion and Wenfeng Pagoda while uncovering local historical
legends. At Wanshan Library, they immersed themselves in ancient Anhui culture
by studying classics, viewing exhibits, reciting poetry, and experiencing
intangible cultural heritage activities. The event culminated in a spirited
"Guess-the-Word" game that energized the crowd.

This themed
event not only created unforgettable memories but also highlighted the vibrant
spirit and dedication of Tianzhushan’s female employees. In the future, they
will continue to contribute to the high-quality development of the geopark’s
tourism industry.

On Women’s Day, Tianzhushan
Geopark offered exclusive benefits for female visitors: entry to the mountain
(including the Valley Stream Cultural Park) for only 10 RMB, along with
complimentary souvenirs.
