The canyon is
flanked by steep cliffs on both sides, with a trail meandering through it like
a dragon, so it is named “Lurking Dragon Cave”. The trail with 102 steps
leads you to a hidden but beautiful spot. The “Lurking Dragon Cave” is formed
by weathering and denudation along the vertical fractures in the granite.
1Running water
eroded and weathered granite mass along its vertical joint (fracture).
2 The fracture
was enlarged along with the processing of weathering and erosion.
3 Eventually, a
nearly vertical ravine formed.
